Depression is real.

Hope is real too.

Weekly discussion and support group meetings are now offered at some Depression Support Coalition churches

Trained facilitators lead the weekly discussion and support group meetings, providing information and support to those affected by depression. In this peer-to-peer venue, members relate their lived experiences and share their challenges, disappointments, and successes living with depression.

New Support Group Starting Up

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has established a new group in support of family members or “significant others” who are supporting people suffering from depression.  It will be held every Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM at Prince of Peace in room 110.  Trained facilitators will provide support for participants attending.

Participants can be anyone who is living with or in a relationship with someone who is suffering from depression, anxiety or related mental health issues.  The group’s mission is to provide a safe place for sharing information and lending faith based support.  The point of contact for questions about this group is Randy Goeke. He can be reached at

952-240-2754.
